The Truth of Humanity

God created for his glory and good pleasure everything seen and unseen in the heavens and upon the earth. He created mankind in his perfect, sinless image. He instructed man to rule over the earth and multiply in it. Everything was provided for Adam and Eve, the first man and woman. They were told not eat to the fruit of one particular tree in the Garden of Eden; but, they selfishly disobeyed this one rule before they procreated. This was the original sin that caused the “Fall” of mankind from God’s grace. The consequence for sin is eternal death separated from God. Afterward, they procreated in their own sinful image which passed this sin nature and its consequence of eternal death unto all humanity.

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Romans 1:20  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
Genesis 1:26-27  Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Genesis 2:16-17  The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”
Genesis 3:6  When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.
Romans 5:12  Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 3:19-23  Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
